I am very proud to announce a partnership with the Dronfield hall barn has been put together. This will exist in the form of two workshops both in the area of Padley Gorge and Owler Tor in the Peak District National Park.

You can click on the photograph above which will direct you straight to the Dronfield Hall Barn for all the details and information. The workshop is aimed at beginners and will be a full day out of landscape photography with myself and one other instructor.

We will begin at the barn where we will follow out a quick information package about landscape photography and taking photographs as well as a quick heads up if anyone needs a bit of help with the camera.

After this it will be a short trip to Padley Gorge to photograph the rivers and Woodlands in this area before heading over to surprise view car park for dinner of which you will bring yourself. That way it's just easier and safer for everyone with any allergies or dietary needs. Next we will make our way up the hill towards millstone edge and really fine tune what you've learnt earlier in the day. Before we make our way further up the hill to Upper Owler Tor for what we hope will be a great sunset.

There are two workshops of which as mentioned you can see the full details in the photo above and they are available to book now.

Myself I have over 10 years experience with landscape photography and I know the area inside and out. It will be an easy-going slow process aimed at beginners to hopefully encourage you to take your landscape photography further.

Finally a reminder that the Dronfield hall barn competition is still live and you have until the end of September to get your entries in. In my opinion there is no better time than right now to get out with your camera and enjoy your local countryside Woodlands or just your favourite spot. New growth is now visible on the trees and the bluebells are smelling wonderful. Just around the corner that strong scent of wild garlic will engulf the Woodlands and rivers. As the temperatures increase this is a perfect time for you to capture something special.

As before full details of the competition can be found by clicking on the photograph above so good luck and I look forward to judging your entries soon with the rest of the team.

As always Thank You to everyone who takes the time and checking out my blog I look forward to meeting those wishing to come along on the workshops. Plus a very good luck to those entering photos into the competition.
